I gotta tell ya, I love hats! I do and I don’t wear them as much as I’d like to. Now, I think that my head is a strange shape so only makes them so comfortable, but to throw on a straw hat in the summer to make an outfit just a little more chic? Or to hide the fact that I may not have washed my hair? I’m game!
So many ways to wear them too! Whether it’s with an outfit to a chic patio brunch, or maybe with a casual dress for a family event, or throw it on with jean shorts and a casual top on top of your swimsuit and you are set!
My recommendation? Find a hat that goes with everything, which, sorry, might not be the short-brimmed fedora style. I think the wider the brim the better, not only save yourself from the sun, but they’re just a little more stylish.
And they can go with absolutely everything! My personal favorite is a pair of light wash jeans and a white button-down. But you also can’t beat the vaca look: swimsuit and a cover-up. The black dress is the same style as I’m wearing in the picture above! It’s an amazing cover-up and has adjustable straps too! Sure the black is a little more solid in color so you could wear as a cover-up for a lake day, or for a casual weekend outing.

I think that shirt jackets are great for Spring! The lighter the color and material the better, but are great for those days where it feels like Spring in the morning and Summer by the afternoon. And a t shirt dress is a great way to be incredibly comfortable, nice and cool but also look like you really put effort into looking put together 😉

These are a little fancier and a little more flirty and fun! The skirt and sneakers is super laid back, but you could also pair it with a pair of sandal heels for a little nicer of an outing. And the dress outfit is perfect for a cocktail hour or even an outdoor event.
